TRAINING
Motorcycling is a sport that will bring years of enjoyment. However, it does include an element of risk,
so it's important to ride as safely as possible. That is why we invite beginner and experienced riders
to enroll into one of these valuable training courses.
For students with no experience riding a motorcycle who would like to learn to ride and
obtain a Michigan motorcycle endorsement. For more information click ENROLL.

Basic motorcycle riding skills training including clutch and throttle coordination,
straight-line riding, braking, turning and shifting.
|
The development of basic motorcycle riding skills. Plus, successful completion allows
students to waive the Rider Skills Test when applying for a Michigan motorcycle endorsement.
Students may also qualify for an insurance discount.
|
A 15-hour, multiple day motorcycle training course:
- 5-hours of classroom instruction.
- 10-hours of hands-on training.
- Written riding knowledge and skills test.

- 5-hours of hands-on training.

Intermediate riding skills training including speed control, braking and stopping, counter
steering, cornering, hazard avoidance and other techniques necessary to ride skillfully and
safely.

The development of intermediate motorcycle riding skills. Plus, successful completion allows
students to waive the written and riding skills tests when applying for a Michigan
motorcycle endorsement. Students may also qualify for an insurance discount.

An 8-hour, one-day motorcycle training course:
- 3-hours of classroom instruction.
- 5-hours of hands-on training.
- Written riding knowledge and skills test.

For experienced riders with a motorcycle endorsement who want to enhance basic rider skills
and personal risk assessment. This course is the civilian version of the Military Sport Bike
